Boudoir

Here are a few photos I took of some great girls who allowed me to share these. Thanks girls!

Boudoir- I have been shooting boudoir photos for the past 2 years. The majority of my clients are brides looking for the perfect gift for their future husbands. The reason for my post is that I have received at least 15 emails in the past few days requesting information. Unfortunately, I have been to busy to respond to them individually. so I sent out a generic email (which I hate to do) So here I am posting the information. My current package is $150.00 and includes the following:
30 4x6 prints, 12x12 collage and CD of all the prints.

I also offer a 10 page graphically designed album for an additional $150.00 (this is new).

Here are some frequently asked questions and responses.

1. How long will the session last? The session is about 60 to 90 minutes.
2. I don't know how to pose, do you have suggestions and poses? The response is no need to worry I pose you and guide you through the whole session.
3. What should I bring? I say bring everything, you never know what you are going to need. Some suggestions are lingerie, bra and pantie sets, shoes, jewelry, thigh highs (fishnet). your guys favorite team jersey or shirt. The absolute essentials are black panties and white panties.
4. Do you have props? My studio setting includes black and white back drops, a Victorian bench in front a window with pretty curtains, I have different benches and stools, I use different fur carpets, I have fabrics galore that look really nice as coverings or just to lay on, I have boas, pearls and hats. I am always adding to my collection. I also use different lighting effects on your body and I photoshop many vintage tones to the photos that look really cool.
5. Can I have my hair and makeup done there? Yes, my studio is located inside the Michael Francis Day Spa and hair, make-up and fake eyelashes are an additional $100.00. I will be happy to set up an appointment for you.
6. Do you keep show my photographs to anyone? Absolutely not, I do not share your photos with anyone but you. Hence the reason I don't have any photos to show you.
7. How far in advance do I need to book? I suggest you book as soon I you know you are ready to do it. The latest is 4 weeks.

So, I hope this helps to answer alot of every ones questions. I am considering doing a Boudoir Marathon on the weekend of October 24th and October 25th. This will be held at the Goodwin Hotel in Hartford. There are only 5 slots available each day and the cost will be $250.00. I will Require a $100.00 deposit. Hair and makeup will also be available on site for an additional $125.00. Please email me if you are interested jewelphoto@sbcglobal.net

One last thing I am raising the pricing after January 1st to $250.00 a session.

Thanks so much for all of interest and I look forward to working with you. Please email me if you have any further questions or if you see any typos.

Rachael & Dave

This is the handfasting ceremony. A first for me and I loved it! It was so nice, all of the family members came up and said something nice and tied a ribbon around Rachael and Dave's hand.
At the very end the JP tied all of them together binding them.

Dave and Rachael were married at the Brandford House in Groton. I met Dave Last November at a wedding I was shooting. Dave is plays the bass for Shaded Soul. Shaded Soul is awesome and I highly recommend them. Here is there website www.shadedsoulband.com .
Dave and Rachael had a beautiful wedding and here is an amazing fact for you to know. For those of you brides out there who are stressed out planning your wedding. Can you imagine preparing your food for your wedding??? Rachael made all the food for her own wedding, well she is a chef but can you even imagine doing that. The food was excellent. You did a great job Rachael.
These are two very amazing people with great talents and was lucky to be part of their wedding. Thank you for having me and Congratulations.

Erica & Jimmy

Water's Edge has the best windows for the dress shots.

I couldn't resist putting the shoes in the fireplace. (Get it, cinders like Cinderella)

Erica is so beautiful and guess what she has an identical twin sister.

Erica and Jimmy were married on the 4th of July. The ceremony and reception were at Water's Edge. It was a beautiful ceremony and a beautiful reception. Erica and Jimmy are both very sweet and are perfect for each other. Erica has an identical twin sister Jaime. Jamie is getting married in September and I am photographing her wedding. It is so nice to be a part of both weddings. As a photographer you get to be part of one of the most important days in someones life. It is nice to get to see their family again for a second time. I am excited to see Erica and Jimmy again as newlyweds and to be a part of Jamie and Ryan's wedding day.

Congratulations! See you soon!
.

This was an interesting photo to take, as you can see
I have 3 little ones were having a great time. They were so cute and fun!

YEAH!!

The weather was sort of on our side.
It didn't rain but it did get dark pretty fast.

Starfish!

I love this face, I make this face at my husband all the time!

Makeba & Chad

Lazaro gown. my favorite designer.

Makeba & Chad were married at the Old State House in Hartford and the reception followed at the Bond Ball Room. I met Makeba and Chad through mutual friends over a year ago and I have built a friendship with Makeba. She is an amazing person and I was so happy to be a part of her wedding (not to mention she is gorgeous). Congratulations and Thank you for having me be part of your day.

This photo was taken by Nancy. Nancy has been my second shooter and will now be booking her own weddings for 2009. She is very creative.

The Bond Ballroom, fit for a princess!

One of my favorite moments to catch emotions. The first dance.
